DrivewAtch is an integrated methodology for monitoring driver proficiency, safety and performance during the driver license testing process. Uniquely, DrivewAtch includes audio-enabled digital cameras installed in the road testing vehicle, creating an audio and video record of driver performance and a real-time view of the road path driven during testing. DrivewAtch technology synchronizes this video record with vehicle speed and driver acceleration and/or deceleration, providing a comprehensive methodology for measuring driver performance and road conditions.
DrivewAtch also can deliver significant cost savings to State agencies by automating many of the processes involved in administering driver knowledge and road skills tests. DrivewAtch provides electronic test scoring for standard, commercial and motorcycle road tests. Examiners use a hand-held wireless device to record test scores in real time and a pass/fail status is transmitted automatically, along with the driver’s electronic signature. This remote management capability is fully integrated with the State agency database which allows for future viewing or printing online, or sharing electronically over a network.
