Tom Springer Wins One for Applus

Tom Springer, Applus CEO, was elected on Tuesday October 14, 2009 to the position of Chairman of the North American Regional Advisory Group of CITA, the international vehicle inspection committee, at CITA’s biannual conference. CITA is an international non-profit trade association based in Brussels, Belgium. It is a leading force worldwide in the research and advocacy for the benefits of vehicle inspections. Tom, in his position as Chair, will lead the I/M industry’s advocacy for the benefits of vehicle inspections at the federal, state and regional level. His election presents a unique opportunity to advance the cause of vehicle inspections nationwide.
Tom won the election as Chair against Systech CEO Lothar Geilen. Mr. Geilen offered his congratulations to Tom after the victory and pledged to support him in CITA’s industry advocacy work.
